I got my truck back today. It's all done except plumbing up the EGR and putting in new O2 sensors. It is still fairly loud, but it has five holes in it right now. It is 2 1/4" and then they went 3" beyond the muffler. I didn't ask them to do that, but it is kind of cool. The last 2 feet of the exhaust pipes are removeable so if I crush them between the bumper and a rock, they can be easily replaced. The rest of the pipes are welded.

My EGR system:

I hooked up the EGR system this morning, yeah, I know the 2000X doesn't have one, but here it is.

I still need to put in the O2 sensors. They are on order.

O2 sensors came right after I posted this. I'm not done yet with all the spicing and it's raining out, but here's what it sounds like.

Well I have to say if, when my manifolds crack Im going this route. It does not make sence to me not to. If it can be made to be legal, which it seems it can, than why not. It sounds DAMN nice, plus what ever Xtra peformance gains.

wow, that sounds pretty bad ass. Is it pretty loud with the doors closed and city driving Dagger? Perhaps i should screw the OEM manifold and goes this route as well!

Care to share the part numbers on the parts you used and where you got them?

Sounds pretty much the same as mine best I can tell, taking into consideration recording differences, etc. I'd still like like now what it sounds like from the driver's seat while driving and if you're getting a lot of extra noise coming on around 2800 RPM.

It's not bad at all inside; actually,it sounds pretty good. Not annoying at all. Then again, I have not driven it for a long time yet. laugh

I have not noticed anything like that...at least nothing that bothered me. I'll check next time and take a sound clip.

I just, literally just got back from the shop, got mine on with 2.5" pipes and a Flowmaster 40, sounds sick and the power increase is more than significant for me.
