I know that I probably should have posted this under problems and annoyances, but I figured I'd get the right answers from the people on this board. Anyway, I got my Borla muffler and tip installed last week. I love it and the truck is more responsive than ever---but I notice this strong metallic smell coming from the muffler/exhaust area whenever I park and sometimes through the a/c open vent when I am driving. I thought originally that it was just the new parts and wielding, but it has been a week already. What do ya’ll think? Am I overreacting- cause I tend to do that when it comes to my x.

I installed a flowmaster last week and having the same problem. I called the shp that installed and was told that it would go away after a week or so of some good driving. We shall see.
