Read all of the strings about hitches but hadn't seen any discussions about this: Based on all of the feedback from everyone, I do not think that I will need frame stiffeners since I will be only towing small uhaul trailers; however, of all of the available hitches I have seen, some have configurations where the bolts mount either vertically or horizontally to the frame. Anyone have any thoughts on which might be better?

The factory mount with the stiffeners actually used both if you include the stiffener.
