I use to have an 86 blazer that instead of carpet in the floor it had a rubber material. this was great because i could just wipe everything down with a wet rag and it was clean, or you could even run a hose on the inside as long as you were carefull.

I wanted to know if any one has removed the carpet and replaced it with anything like this? I have the rubber floor mats but my carpet is still stained with mud and other crap. i realize this would require some work and time, but i think it would be worth it.

where would i even got to look for this type of material?

I just took it out, and left it out. Will probably do a Herculiner style of application later on, but for now, just leaving it.

You've been away for a while, Cyclemut, how are things?

Do you have any pictures of the inside of your xterra with the carpet out?
