OK, 4WD and Sport Utility Magazine has a review on the Calmini lift for the Xterra. Here is the link, but I can't get the link to the Xterra article to work

I suscribe to these guys and they had a article about installing an ARB Bumper on an X a few months ago and Skid Plates are in the works.

This is the first issue in full that has been put on the web and I guess they're having a few problems.

Sent an email to the webmaster. The page just isn't on the production server. Looks like they migrated the main page with the updated links but forgot to migrate the pages for the Technical section. Hopefully they'll fix it soon, I'd like to read the article as well.

I can't for the life of me understand why they went to 16" rims. For off-road use, that's just dumb.
And you can't really tell in the online version, but the first pic shows it with an ARB bumper, not the Calmini bumper. Hmm...

Hey you're right! Good eye. Kinda funny since it's an article about Calmini.

The article is written by an off-road magazine (not Calmini). There upgrade/test vehicles do not generally claim alegance to a particular aftermarket manufacturer. 4WD and Sport Utility Magazine must have felt that the ARB was better or the ARB was put on before Calmini released their version.

Actually, if you check the credits, the pictures were taken by Calmini.

IIRC, 4WD&SU did a feature a couple of issues back covering the mounting of an ARB on an X. Perhaps this is the same X?

This is their Xterra project vehicle, they say next they're putting on skid plates, Skid Row Plates I hope.
