Got in the Xterra today and nothing but hot air coming out. Second hottest day of the year no less! I've already had the high pressure hose replaced (about 4 year ago - under warranty thankfully!) but wouldn't be surprised if that's it again. Oh well, time to start doing some searching and checking for things like the thermal switch under the dash and all that other crap that I researched once upon a time. But I'll bet it's that stupid fucking high pressure hose yet again (esp. since the compressor comes on and off).

Joy! If it is the stupid hose, does anyone know of an aftermarket hose that is made better than the cheap POS factory part?

I had the A/C fixed on my 03 the day before the 5 year / 100,000 mile warranty ran out, I think it was also the high pressure line. It broke again the following summer, didn’t bother to fix it as I had a new daily driver by then. Pretty sure the dealership didn’t fix either after I traded it in, hate to be the new owner.
