Hello! I'm new to this site, and honestly I'm not an owner of an Xterra yet, but I have wanted to be since they first came out! I'm currently looking at a 2004, and I'm wondering if there are any specific issues that I should be aware of. I've read about the timing belts, so I'll ask them about that. Anything else?

I'm hoping that it's finally my time to get my hands on an Xterra! They seem to hold their value really well so I haven't been able to find an affordable one with low miles until now. The age is my only obvious concern with this one. Any insight you all can provide would be great!

Thank you! And, thank you for letting me join the group! Hopefully I'll be a legit member before long. grin

As 2015 will be the last year for xterra's you should buy soon as the prices seem to go up after a discontinuation. One problem is you will suddenly have an uncontrollable urge to climb things and look for rough roads
