I was just wondering if anyone had this carrier and how do you like it? Also does anyone know where I can get these cheaper than $170; besides ebay? thanks

I like mine, does just what its suppose to. Only real problem is that i have a Trek with the 22.5in frame and its on the verge of being to big for the rack.

yea...i'm a small guy so i'm guessing my 16" giant xtc se 1 should fit fine in there.

If you're looking for a cheap interior rack, buy a couple of skewer mounts and bolt them to a board. Total cost less than $50 and is functionally identical. Do a search.

but then how do u secure the board to the interior?

you don't have to. If the 2x4 is cut to fit all the way across the rear of the vehicle then it will be stable and not need to be secured down. I did this also it works great and it was about 22 dollars.

I purchased a spreader bar from pep boys thats meant for the back of a pick-up and I JB Welded the ends so they wouldn't pivot then used some conduit clamps to hold on some Yakima block heads and it works great. You just have to make sure your road bike handlebars don't hit the window if you have a long stem. But, with a MTB it's not an issue.
