Has anyone installed a sunroof on an 05 Xterra?

Are you going to get rid of the Roof basket and Deflector to make use of the Sun roof? If not, there won't be much benefit from it, however there was a guy who was selling plexiglass replacements for the Deflector, but for Gen1.

well, you could do the Plexiglass thing to a newer wind fairing. all you need is a piece of plexiglass, some bolts/locking nuts, and something to cut with. i had the original one(the proto from the guy in pa selling the kits) and thats all it was, nothing special.

I wish that Nissan would offer a second roof package for the 05'+ Xterra. A rack something like the Frontier would be nice. Even with the X's roofline a slider would not be out of the question.
The X's price seems to be going up why not add some extras along the way.
