Spacers or BL?

I want 33" tires and am going to be doing mild off-roading (just mud, no rocks or anything extreme) so I have to get a lift of some kind. I do not want a suspension lift because 4WheelParts quoted me about $1,500 for a ~2" suspension lift. I don't want to spend that much. So should I get a 3" body lift: http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop...ae95d53e43b1b5b or get spacers? Thanks

oooh - you're talking about those coil spacers... seems like a good way to go to me if all you want is height and not articulation.
They're certainly easier than a BL

Nether to fit 33's, 2005+'s can fit 33's stock, with no lift of any kind at all. And...as far as articulation goes...I doubt you could tell the difference between a longer coil and a coil spacer'd X....the front tires will droop just like they would with a longer coil...the IFS will still go from stop to stop, same as stock, just ride higher... ...and the rear doesn't have a coil, so its the same as a shackle lift on an old X, etc.

Ok so 33's will fit but will they rub, or touch, when I am driving/turning? How about a small amount of mudding?

LOL 32's are a stock size...33's only stick out another 1/2"...not enough to matter. Your wells are a little narrow due to the bulgy plastic fender liners, so if you get 33x12.5's for example, it will rub the plastic liner on compression/turns, but people have trimmed the plastic inside the wheels back, or even heated it with a blow dryer to shrink it back. (Plastic liners also "self clearance" with wear...) 285/75/16's fit easily, on alot of new X's with no trimming at all, others, a little plastic at most, 305/70/16's also fit, but I don't know any new X's running wider than the 12.5's. (The 305/70/16 is roughly a 33x12.5/16 equivalent The 285/75/16 is roughly a 33x11.5/16 equivalent The Stock can come with a 265/75/16, roughly a 32x10.5/16 equivalent)
