I am just now getting around to putting on my sliders i order in Jan. (Damn the Air Force)
can one of you help me out. The instructions say The plate with 3 holes goes in the rear. I don't have a plate with 3 they all have 2.

how do i know which one is the front, or doest it even matter.

Does not matter... match the holes with those predrilled in the frame.

Round side up wink

Get someone to help you. I was able to do it by myself, but it would have been worlds easier with 2 people.

Mine didn't line up that great either, you have mess with it.

Make sure that none of the bolts are in tight, back them all out and reposition until you can get all bolts in. Then tighten each bolt a little at a time.

Patience my son.

There is nothing wrong with the sliders i think it is the nut plates on the frame. i may have to drill through them and install with a bolt and a nut.

All the holes line up on the sliders and the factory holes on the frame just crappy nut plates.

Sometimes the threads are full of undercoating gunk. You can try running am M10 x 1.25 tap through them to clean them up.

If you haven't had step rails on in a while (or at all), the bolt holes will get gunked up. I used to remove my step rails before I went off road, then reinstall them when I got home.

I boogered up a couple of the bolts by cross-threading them in dirt-filled holes. With the fine threads used by Nissan for the step rails, it's easy to do.

I installed my Shrocks by myself and didn't have any problems lining everything up.
