Don't know if this is new or not, but questions were bought up on the buy-sell forum. Yakima has a Hi-Lift specific mount now: Part # is 7077
Yakima Hi-Lift Mount

The mount will be here tomorrow, and I'll post pics once I mount it all up to my Loadwarrior.

Thanks for the info. never knew they offered a specific bracket for the hi-lift.

Keep us updated on how it works out. I'm interested in seeing some pics and your opinions on how sturdy the mounts actually are.

cool [Wave] cool

Ok, it's on. It is a decent kit, with zinc plated hardware and took about 25 min to bolt it up. All you need is a 3/4" socket and a decent 3/4" wrench. In addition to resting on the mounts, you also bolt the jack onto the mounts using 3/4" bolts with lockwashers so it really is on there. For further security, there is a hole to allow for a decent sized padlock.

For the pics: I kept them all at 640x
480 so you can see really well how they bolt up:

Overall look of lLoadwarrior with spare mounted and jack mounted.

Side view of mounted jack. You can kinda see how the jack bolts into the mounts up in front and just above the base.

Back mount, inside view of bolts.

Top view of back mount. You can see how the jack bolts to the mount as well as how the mount is bolted to the rack.

Front mount from side. Again, you can see how everything bolts up. Also you can see the included velcro strap they include for handle. Padlock would go on this end of mount.

Overall it seems sturdy once mounted. Gonna take it to the road and see how it holds up.

Ditto on the post. After seeing the pics, I really like the mount. Looks sturdy enough, easy to remove the hi-lift, and lets you padlock it to prevent theft.
The rackwarehouse has got a good price going on right now (compared to retail). I'm going to pick one up. Thanks again [Wave]

Beautiful. Mine are expected to arrive tomorrow. I have been looking for the past three weeks for some brackets to make that work. Yahoo.
