I think I am going to go with this regulator(second one down) co2 regulators made for the correct purpose(offroad application)and adjustable up to 200 psi so if I get a locker in the future I will be able to use it for that as well as tools and airing up tires. $85 is pretty low for an adjustable regulator and I dont need the high end regulator with a "liquid filled" gauge and such...

Ack, a steel tank is going to be pretty heavy. Aluminum is much nicer...

Good find on the regulators. I guess a 2 gauge isn't needed is it? The second gauge gives you tank pressure but wont clue you into running out right? Only weight will.

The tank pressure gauge will give you some, but not much, warning of running out. Once the liquid is consumed and you're left with gas only, the pressure will start to drop. It's enough to do a tire or two I think.

[/b]yeah, I finally got around to ordering mine today as well...think it will be a nice set up...I will post pics of the whole thing once the regulator comes in....I ended up Herculining the tank to protect it from dings and scuffs(and to make it look different) and that came out great as well...plan on cam-straping it down in the cargo area to the metal tiedowns that are already there...

You've put a lot in that setup and it works well for you. Its also way above my skill level. Bought one of these today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3697200522&ssPageName=STRK:M EWA:IT Also got my tank bracket from the local fire shop thats doing my tank. http://offroadair.net/images/brackets.gif $25 since it was "dusty". Decided to go with a 10# tank, the 15# was too tall when upright in the back of the truck. With that bracket the 10# works perfectly. The shop had a steel but offered to try and find an aluminum for me. Hydro tested and ready by Wed. Cost so far: Air hammer/wrench = $50 Hoses, adapters, connectors = $15 Tank bracket = $25 10# tank = $40 (filled, hydro tested) Regulator = $83 Total = $173

It looks like that tank has a round bottom? From what I understand, a CO2 tank must be vertical for use. Do you plan on getting a base for it? I believe you can purchase a rubber base, though can't remember if it's from Powertank or Offroad Air. I sprayed the bottom 6" and base with several coats of truck bed liner, worked well.

You agreed with my buying that other hose Brent... THAT hose is only rated for 100PSI, no thanks. I like the non coiled. Bought some velcro straps and hung it from the side cargo hook. Looks impressive. LOL I even vacuumed my interior, I'll have to take a new pic now.
