No matter what I do, I can't keep my Yakima Hi-Lift mount parallel with the ground. I've tightened up the bolts as much as I can, and still, the weight of the jack makes the mount slide down. Is anyone else having this problem with their mounts?

Wrap a single layer of 3M heavy duty 2 sided tape the width of the bracket around the bar. Put the plastic parts on top of the tape. Getting the bolts back in will be tight, but it will keep things from slipping.

Aren't the plastic bushings molded so it contacts the horizontal and vertical tubes for support? The bushings on yours must be warn out so the tape might help. I haven't had this problem but then again I only mount the hi-lift up there when offroading and take it off afterwards.
