Eric, you might want to Take a look at Kelly Nissan, in Oak Lawn. Its on 95th St just west of Pulaski. I got a pretty good deal there on my X.

Thanks

For those of you in the Chicago area.

Has anyone had any experience with Star Nissan in Niles, IL (or might be Skokie) on Touhy Ave? I'm trying to find a dealership closer to me with good service.

I bought my X at Star Nissan in Skokie. The salesman, Alex, was quite helpful. Unfortunately my X came with a scratch under the clear coat from Nissan. I have to take it in on Monday to get it repaired so I'll post any info on their service dept.

I had previously bought my Frontier CC from Al Piemonte since it is a couple of blocks away. Unfortunately they did not want to make deal on the X and I walked away... they called me the next day... as I was driving the X I purchased from Star..

Hope Star Nissan(their sister dealership) isn't like them...

Worried....

I've had nothing but good experiences at Arlington Nissan in Buffalo Grove. The sales guy to see is Dino Arcepitis (sp?). Their service dept is also good. The service manager and parts manager are very professional people.

An hour before I bought my X at Arlington Nissan, I visited Woodfeild Nissan. The sales guy there was pushy and rude.

After doing some nosing around...I've heard nothing buy horror stories about Mid-City....

In contrast to JP, I have been very un-happy with Arlington, messy work, bad customer service. Plus prices for service are pretty high. When I go back this week to get some warrenty work done, they are going to get an earful. At least they didn't throw away my K&N filter like I asked them not to....
