How close is the new pewter to granite?

granite IS pewter. in the us they call it granite, in canada they call it pewter.

my dad has a corvette that is basically the same color as my X, but its called pewter, mine is called granite...

what really annoys me, is whenever i get a ticket written or something, they write "brown"... that pisses me off more than the ticket. that makes it sound like i get lots of tickets, but i have gotten several parking warnings around campus...
