Just a little preaching to the choir... This may have been posted before, but the host in this weeks episode of 4X4 TV rates the Xterra as one of the most capable 4 x 4 vehicles off the showroom floor. It was rated high for its power on the trail, it's stability and for the overall fun it is to drive offroad. The only knock was a comment of a need for a locker on the rougher stuff...oh, and a side note that while the X still has "everything you need" maybe the '02 is giving us some of what we don't. Ah well, many of us on this board have taken the X places where lockers would be beneficial and still had a blast. Shoot, even the 4x2's on this board fly on the trail! Ok, that was uncalled for...

Hey BP, there are a few Unix (see, it's not so tough to type Eric!) positions out here, usually filled internally. Mostly I am seeing the specialty roles in demand -- e.g., Sr. Embedded C Engineer, RF Design, Hogan Deposits developers. When the telcom industry started shooting snake-eyes sometime last year, Denver (especially the tech sector) began to resemble a mile-hi city of the 1980's, when mining went away. Plenty of skilled people, but little work to do. So, even we recruiters are spending a little more time watching the tube -- like 4x4 TV on "The Outdoor Channel". Wednesday at 730 Mountain time.

Dave, I'm sure you've applied at LockMart and Northrup Grumman. If there hasn't been a fit for your skill set, I'd think there might be soon -- especially with all the new projects Lockheed is undertaking.
-- Dan. Oh yea.. and Lockheed directed me to Ft Worth (I'm flying there next week) cause they are downsizing 700 positions in Denver (most of those people were offered jobs in Ft Worth) NG never called back, Space Imaging and DigitalGlobe never called even though I had inside people, TRW and Boeing aren't hiring in town, NORAD is on a freeze right now (they don't want to bring in the 'wrong person') .. basically I've looked at every aerospace avenue in town and have half a dozen people in different companies trying to help. Hey BP, I might have a house for sale in Denver metro if you want it, only 3 blocks from Ians house [ 02-01-2002: Message edited by: XtremeFlyer ]

And your sarcasm is duely noted! Has the lack of business made you bitter?
