the weather forecast for Sunday is really wet and stormy. If it was just me I would camp with you guys but I am bringing my 4 year old son on this trip so we won't be camping overnight. We plan on leaving Saturday so as long as we can make it back to the head of the trail alright
What weather forecast are you looking? According to weather.com, the forecast for the Paynes Creek is 30% few shower for Sat. and Sun. 30% chances are typically not even enough rain to get the ground wet very much. The campground is really half way through from east or west side of the trail... It might be a bit difficult to get back to the pavement in the dark...but what do I know? Kevin or Chris, please confirm how easy/difficult for Ron to turn around and go back out...when it's getting dark...

And...how come everyone's copying the whole thing, instead of just meeting location part? confused
