Trail: Bear Valley Loop Trail
Location: North of Truckee, southeast of Sierraville
Difficulty: Moderate. Mix of easy dirt roads and rocky climbs. Difficult side obstacles are optional. Suitable for aggressive stock 4wd SUVs with skid plates. Trail is well marked with brown posts the entire way.
Time & Distance: About 8 miles for 3 hours. Looping back for another 6.2 miles and 2 hours.

A few freelander guys are planning a run, and I decided to join them... Since this is a day run on 9/18 (Sat), I'm going to go to the (primitive) camp site located at the trail head on Friday night to avoid driving early morning on Sat.
