I'm going with family and everything's already planned out (a day in Vegas, day at the Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam, and a day in Death Valley). I just wanted to get some advice from those who are familiar with the area so I can be sure to see all the good stuff.

I was planning on taking 95 and going through Rhyolite (Ghost Town/the long way) then taking Badwater Road/127/Old Spanish Trail/160 on the way back.

I'll have an SUV rental (no Xterra) so I won't be able to do any hardcore offroading.
