IPA isopropal alcohal is considered dangerous to the environment. That is what the EPA said to us while i was in the Air Force. We had to bag up the used cotton balls or rags that had IPA on them and turn them into HAZMAT for proper disposal. I have only had my X for about 6 months and i havent had problems with the fluid running out to fast. I just get it filled while i am getting the oil changed and i am good until the next oil change.
