How has my Xterra leaked? Let me count the ways....

1) Passenger side head gasket. External only, no leak into the oil. Was caused by a faultily cast head - they replaced the head too (after overnighting it in )

2) Six months later rear heater hose. Where the metal ones behind the engine meet the rubber. Ran down the top of the engine and looked like it was the water pump.

3) Two months later - Bypass hose - also on top of the engine, leaked out the front - was pissed they didn't change the water pump the first time - turned out to just be the @%#$ hose.

First was covered by the powertrain warranty. I ate the second Third was covered by the extended warranty.

I'm almost afraid to look under the truck in the morning....
