To be honest, I don't think it would cause a dent if Canadian beef wasn't sent down.

Doing a search, it showed Canada sending about 238,000 tons to the US in 1999. In 2002, US production alone was 3,567,861 tons in just 2 months. (Though I couldn't tell if the Canadian site was talking metric tons or not.)

Myself...if I could, I would always order beef from Indiana. Screw this angus shit. Give me Hereford's.
