What better way to spend the first day of summer then exploring Los Coyotes Indian Reservation (LCIR) in Warner Springs & wheelin trails such as mushroom hill, dead cow, rough road, quiet road, the crazy dangerous road, geo-caching, riding above the clouds, checking out the scenery on the way to Hot Springs Mtn. on a sunny, clear and cool day.

The terrain is amazing varied from tall hills, mountain like wooded areas with heavy tree cover, rocky creek beds, eroded dirt roads w/ moguls deluxe on elevations ranging from ~ 4000' to over 7000'.

The trails ranged from mild to a bit wild with variety as the main theme. Pictures are of the dangerous road trail which is rated as only moderate for LCIR, but challenging for longer wheel base vehicles as we climbed over/around; stumps, fallen trees, jagged sheet metal from a carcass of a long ago abandon vehicle that just cut some tires of a jeep group that went through, boulder squeezes, loose powdery silt through a creek bed that was off-camber most of the time.

In the end we completed all the trails with no damage although we did scuff up some sliders and skids a bit which is about normal fare for creek beds.
