Not to many places where you can drive through a canyon, climb dry waterfalls, exploring mine sites, geo-cache, view a variety of plants and wildlife, and end up at 8k in the mts. with cool scenery all before the sunset.

15 Trucks including (3) 4x2's ran the Rattlesnake Cyn trail and a few other in the Big Bear area. We started on the high desert floor ~ 2.3k and finished the day in 35 degrees at 8k' in the snow just before the sunset. The variety was special as we climbed all day with the terrain/scenery changing :-)
