I was able to install my 9116's while leaving the sway bar on. There's about a 1/4-3/8" of space between the shock and the sway bar. No probs so far...

I've got them set at '2' for the street. Seem to ride quite nicely, and firm. Only had 'em a week so haven't used them offroad yet.
