Hello. I recently bought a 2005 Xterra S with the stock stereo system (non Rockford Fosgate). I have about 3000 miles on it and recently Ive been having problems with the CD player. Many times when I play a CD (even for a short period of time) and I eject it it comes out of the CD player very hot. I usually hold it in front of the A/C to cool it down then stick it back in. Nevertheless when I eject it again it still comes out pretty hot. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, sometimes normal CD's that arent scratched like to skip. ALthough this doesnt happen often it is recurring (maybe 1ce or twice a week) When I eject THESE Cd's, they are extremely hotter than usual and cooling them down usually stops them from skipping but, again, they are still pretty hot when i do eject them even though arent skipping. Does anyone have any advice on this? Thanks.
