You should not have to be penalized. They seem to be jerking you around. Just remember that in the future when it comes to buying a new truck.

Last year I took my truck in a week or so before my extended warranty expired. That is where they discovered the cracked manifold. It was on backorder though. They fixed it 2 weeks after the warranty expired. No fuss, no muss.

Try taking it to another dealership; maybe they will want your business.
