Everybody is invited on our annual night run to Yankee Boy Basin. The trail is generally ease/suitable for stock 4x4’s and has a fun climb up near the end of the trail.

We will start staging at 6:45pm on 2nd street @ 5th Ave, which runs along the backside of the Aplenglow condos, and leave promptly at 7pm. Allow 4 hours and use FRS channel 9 for communications. An Ouray town map can be found at:

But first you must see/find Ian & get your GOX packet, with maps, area info, liability waiver, stickers and whatnot. People can look for him in Ouray Sunday afternoon, after about 2PM, near the Alpenglow.

Should be a great night for star glazing with a new moon & some clear skies. The basin on top has a larger area we could hang out and take some cool time expose photos of the mountains/skies/stars & trucks of course.
