true, but depends if your in a stick or not, also, if you shift too early in a 5spd and you wanna get some speed, mashing on the gas in the wrong gear isnt going to save you any gas either[/b]
Exactly. I find that my mileage improves dramatically if I use more revs and less throttle when climbing hills. Best thing to do is not worry so much about the revs, but pretend there's an egg between your foot and the gas pedal so you don't mash it down.
