The X is naturally nose down anywhere from 1-2 inches. It was designed that way. All 00-04 came like that. You could level it out by cranking the torsion bars a bit but that will change your alignment and possibly change the quality of your stock ride. As far as the suspension wearing out don't worry about it at 55k, some folks here have +100K miles on stock suspension, things like bushings or shocks might need replacement but for the "suspension" being replaced I wouldn't think so. Good luck with the tires, cranking the torsion bars (raising the front suspension) doesn't allow for bigger tires , bodylifts allow for bigger tires. Besides the size you picked should fit fine.
