I've got about 2500 miles on my 4x4 auto so far. I drive around 50 miles a day back and forth to work. A little highway and the rest streets with minimal stop lights and speed limits around 40-45 MPH.

Last 2 tanks were around 21 MPG I don't drive that hard, but drive like Granny either. Overrall I am quite pleased with the mileage as my 99 J@@P Grand Cherokee ( 4.0L 4x4, auto) got around 19. and our 03 Envoy XL 4x2 got around 18MPG in the same driving conditions.

The X is a much better vehicle all the way around than the prevoius 2 vehicles.
