Interesting... I didn't look at the catalog page last night - turns out they are coated in polymer.... weird.
Also known as armor coat, the coating on these screws provides better corrosion resistance than zinc, cadmium, and hot-dipped galvanized plating. The thickness of the plastic alloy (polymer) coating does not interfere with the screw's Class 3A thread fit. Coating provides salt spray resistance of 1,000 hours per ASTM B117. Coating color is silver-gray. Alloy steel conforms to ASTM A574. Meet ANSI/ASME B18.3. Rockwell hardness: C39-C45. Minimum tensile strength is 180,000 psi. Length is measured from under head.
Anyway - based on my measurements and best guess, these will work. I'll let ya know in a few days if they really do.
