Are there any conservative Republicans that would want to run with McCain? Usually the conservative Republican senators have had to endure years of abuse and name calling like "fuck you" and "your an asshole" from McCain in senate negotiations. As far as governors, I don't know. The liberal Republican governors like Crist like him, but that won't help a McCain ticket.

Forget about McCain.

McCain came within a hair of switching to the Democrat Party in 2001. He changed his mind after Jim Jeffords jumped ship.

You need to concentrate on the congressional elections this year. Maybe in 2012 we can have Bobby Jindal, the new governor of Louisiana as a national figure if he does a good job, which I think he will.

He's a politician for conservatives to watch for the future.
