Everyone is finally learning that a 11-1-1 finish with one player against the worst division in hockey (Caps) really doesn't mean as much as a 7-1-1 finish against arguably the toughest division in hockey. (Flyers)

When all the media predictions came about for this series I was shocked that people were picking the Caps. The Flyers are simply deeper. Arguably the deepest team at forward in the NHL, and that is without Gagne. They have questions on defense and goal but so does most teams.

Ovechkin has disappeared so far. And the difference is that his team doesn't have anyone else who looks like they want to step up.
