When the FPR was replaced, did it help anything? I'm trying to decide if this part ever needs to be replaced. The Nissan Tech Manual (downloaded from this forum) doesn't even discuss the replacement of the regulator, only how to diagnose a problem with the fuel pressure.
I'm wondering if replacement will even help with long cranks (slow starts). The fuel pump and evap-canister all seem to check out OK.

Anybody out there actually change a fuel pressure regulator on a 3.3L by DYI?
