The reason the TPMS light is on is because the system is looking for the sensors RF signal and it is not present.

If the system is reset the light will go off but when the system realizes the sensors are not present the light will come again.

Your options are.

1. as mentioned by another post, black tape over the light

2. mount the snow tires on the wheels with the sensors

3. obtain another set of sensors($ 80.00 each @ the dealer) and install them on you snow wheels and get them programmed(dealer will need to program) to the vehicle, of course when you switch back next spring those sensors will need to be programmed to the system.
