Here's a picture of how I did my rack. 4'x16" shelving from Home Depot. Same as what onemadfool used, but I mounted mine with the lower front bar of the rack in the roof tiedowns, which results in it being closer to the roof.

You can see in the left corner how it sits into the tiedown. I used a bungee on the back, that way I can pull the back down and get stuff out of there without having to detach/unfasten/unhook anything.
