I agree about protection.

i really don't care about the Fog lights but hated the fact that i had no were to put them.

They are tucked pretty far back and won;t take any straight on impact. From the side might be a different issuse. I also they are sitting low if I hit some water.

Good enough for now (winter no puddles )
